Leading geospatial consultancy Technics has expanded its business by opening an office in Doncaster as Cardno global infrastructure and environmental services closes its UK surveying company in the region. The Doncaster office will increase Technics’ annual turnover by 20% while giving the company a presence in the north and add to the existing offices in Guildford, Maidstone and Nottingham. The expansion is part of Technics’ strategy to have on-the-ground expertise in infrastructure across the north and take advantage of planned investment as Sheffield is named the second ‘northern powerhouse’ alongside Greater Manchester.
