The Split remote sensing summer school this year will have a theme of environmental security: remote sensing of natural resources. To be held in Thessaloniki, Greece, between 20-22 May, the event will feature hands-on workshops, including:â©
- A one day field trip with a spectroradiometerâ©
- LIDAR data analysis with Rapidlassoâ©
- A field demonstration and data analysis of UAV surveying with GeoSenseâ©
- Big Data analyses with ENVI, MATLAB, SARscape â©
- Data analysis of hyperspectral data using using ENVI and IDLâ©
- There will also be lectures in pattern recognition and applications to groundwater and forest fires.â©
Fees are â¬380 for professionals, â¬200 for students, and will include a social event: Thessaloniki at night and dinner.â©
