Sky-Watch unveils the MUNINN VX1 hybrid UAV 


Danish Sky-Watch unveiled a prototype of itâs new MUNINN VX1 hybrid drone design at the Nordic UAV Event on May 28, 2015. In cooperation with DTU Space and DTU Environment Sky-Watch is on the path to change the game by introducing the MUNINN VX1, a new âTwo Worlds|One UAVâ type of hybrid UAV, that will help to solve tomorrowâs environmental challenges. âTwo Worlds | One UAVâ signifies the ambition to merge two proven technologies and effectively combine the best features from a helicopter with those of an airplane. The MUNINN VX1 design incorporates the ability to take-off and land vertically in small or constrained spaces, combined with the ability to cruise horizontally at high speed to cover larger geographical areas and quickly reach objects or points of interest. The MUNINN VX1 is partly funded by a grant from the Danish Government through the Innovation Fund. www.sky-watch.dk
