Prince Harry attended a special reception in June to celebrate the achievements of humanitarian mapping charity, MapAction - a charity of which His Royal Highness has been patron since 2007. Prince Harry joined a select gathering of key supporters to celebrate the charityâs recent achievements, with particular focus on its vital role in the response to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa and the recent Nepal earthquakes. Prince Harry gave a speech at the event and reflected on what he had heard, âIâm sure everyone here will share my admiration for the courage shown by MapActionâs volunteers in responding so readily to the Ebola outbreak - this is nothing less than I have come to expect of them over my years as patron.â Prince Harry continued, âSadly, as the global context becomes increasingly unpredictable and volatile, the need for MapActionâs service is growing.â www.mapaction.org
