indoo.rs is the backbone of MDSupportâs LowViz Guide app that assists visually impaired people to navigate new indoor environments. indoo.rs was contacted by David Roberts, the Director of MDsupport, to create an app for their community, using indoo.rsâ patented indoor location and navigation software. As GPS cannot be used inside a building, another method had to be found to help guide people through a new building. The answer was to work with indoo.rs to create a white-label app that could be configured to multiple locations. As indoo.rs uses a range of technologies, combining available signals from device sensors and radio signals, and from Wi-Fi and iBeacons, the app uses multiple sensors to accurately pinpoint a personâs positions and guide them to where they want to go, at the same time keeping footprint and power consumption low. www.indoo.rs
