Getmapping has announced the appointment of Gil Melham to the new role of European Managing Director. The role has been created in support of Getmapping’s continued expansion program, which also sees Dave Horner relinquishing direct responsibility for managing the European Region and moving to the role of Group CEO. In support of Gil’s new role, Getmapping has also created a new dedicated management team for the region, including the recruitment of new team members. Heather Bates joins the team as European Finance Manager. Graham Byrne has been appointed European Sales Manager, responsible for business development across the region. Alex Alves has been promoted to the role of European Operations Manager with responsibility for both Aerial and Mobile operations within Europe.
