Ranked among the top three nations in terms of exhibitor numbers and the top five in terms of visitor numbers, the UK continues to punch above its weight at the leading international trade fair for geodesy, geoinformation and land management. This year’s INTERGEO Expo in Berlin will, once again, see British-based businesses promoting leading-edge products and services to an international audience.

For the fifth year running, the UK Pavilion, hosted by GEOconnexion, will provide a focus for British SMEs engaged in a global geospatial market that, according to a recent report1, is headed towards €12 billion by 2020 and growing at a CAGR of more than 11.4%. Buoyed by a mature domestic market, backed by world-leading academic research, and supported by a range of government initiatives in satellite remote sensing, smart cities and BIM, the same report ranks the U.K. as the largest contributor to market growth in Europe.
