ESRI is to provide a free Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) for people who want to learn about the special capabilities of spatial data analysis. The course will include hands-on exercises, short video lectures, quizzes, case studies and discussion. It will run between March 4 and April 15 and require two to three hours of study per week. Those who complete the course will receive a certificate and be eligible to win prizes. Students will get free access to the full analytical capabilities of ArcGIS Online. Previous experience with GIS software will be helpful.â©
