Exelis VIS is offering a series of training courses around Europe in ENVI, SARscape and IDL, taught by experts in data analysis, visualisation, image processing and analysis design.
‘Processing SAR Data Using ENVI SARscape’ will take place on 5-7 April in Gilching, Germany, and 19-22 September in Milan, Italy. It will cover techniques such as time series analysis, coherence change detection, interferometry and differential interferometry, radargrammetry, persistent scatterers, and SBAS analysis.
‘Introduction to ENVI Analytics’ will teach students how to use ENVI for image analysis in remote sensing. Exercises will show tools for data fusion, map presentation, geometric warping, vector overlays, and classification. It will take place on 17-19 May and 6-8 September in Berkshire, UK; 21-23 June in Gilching, Germany; and 10-13 October in Paris, France.
‘Advanced ENVI Spectral Analytics’ will focus on understanding the theory behind hyperspectral imaging, and then on applying the theory with ENVI’s analysis and mapping algorithms. It will take place in Berkshire, UK, on 12-14 April and 15-17 November.
‘Customising ENVI with IDL’ provides an overview of the programming constructs available in IDL, the language in which ENVI is written, as well as the tools necessary for a user to extend ENVI with IDL. It will take place in Gilching, Germany, on 10-12 May and Berkshire, UK, on 18-21 October.
