Elbit Systems’ Seagull™ Won the Maritime Award: “KNVTS Ship of the Year 2017”

At the annual Maritime Award Gala held in November, Seagull, Elbit Systems’ multi mission Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV), was announced winner of the Ship of The Year 2017 by the Royal Dutch Association of Shipping Technicians (KNVTS). The award is granted to the most technologically innovative ship presenting superior design, economics and sustainability. Seagull is a 12-meter long USV that can be operated from a mother-ship or from shore stations. It provides multi-mission capabilities including Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), Mine Counter Measures (MCM), Electronic Warfare (EW), maritime security and underwater commercial missions, leveraging modular and interchangeable mission system installation and offering a high level of autonomy.
