WSA Global Congress 2019

In the times of digital transformation, the intent to add a great deal of value to local communities and to create sustainable impact has become a prominent topic. The global WSA community is coming together to exchange know-how about value added digital innovation and present a global selection of 45 purpose driven projects in Cascais, Portugal from March 11-13,2019.

In the face of huge societal challenges, how can digital innovation make a positive contribution? How can purpose driven entrepreneurship disrupt the status quo? And what benefits for society are hidden in the digital transformation?

The challenge is and remains: Bridging the worldwide divides such as access, education, gender or wealth. Digital innovation combined with the focus on solving local challenges enables a positive, sustainable value for society.

Under the theme of purpose driven digital innovation, WSA and its Portuguese partners APDC, the City of Cascais and Nova SBE, bring together a worldwide multi-stakeholder network in Portugal in March at the WSA Global Congress 2019.

The international community event offers a diverse program of inspiring keynote speeches, hands-on workshops and innovation pitches by 45 techpreneurs with a focus on social impact.

More than 500 ICT experts, governmental and private sector representatives and entrepreneurs are expected to join together in Portugal, making it the place to be to learn the next thing about outstanding entrepreneurs that prove that solving local problems is as impactful as becoming the next unicorn.

In interactive sessions, such as one on one mentoring sessions or hands on workshops, the audience will exchange ideas and best practices on a global level.
