VisionTrack Achieves Record Year With Significant Growth Of Vehicle CCTV And Video Telematics Solutions

The rapid adoption of vehicle CCTV and video telematics within the UK has resulted in record levels of growth for VisionTrack, with the number of fleet and road transport operations using its technology solutions tripling during 2018. In fact, the company experienced a rise of over 280% in installed connected cameras and mobile DVR systems as businesses sought better protection of vehicles, drivers and brand reputation.

“As the leading provider of cloud-based video telematics we provide the most advanced, high-quality and reliable vehicle camera technology, backed by first-class service and support,” explains Simon Marsh, Managing Director of VisionTrack. “This has allowed us to achieve unprecedented growth – with annual revenue increasing in excess of 250% – by meeting the exact business and operational needs of our customers.”

During 2018, VisionTrack secured a number of significant contract wins as the company strengthened its position as preferred video telematics provider within the fleet, road transport and insurance sectors. VisionTrack also established a host of strategic insurance and telematics partnerships, including the launch of both white label and branded initiatives.

To help meet demand, VisionTrack invested heavily in its sales, customer services, technical support and development capabilities. In particular, the company’s overall workforce has more than doubled in the past 12 months, while its in-house R&D team and developers have tripled in size to assist in the creation of next generation hardware and software solutions.

“2018 was a huge year for VisionTrack and we are targeting further success over the next 12 months as we expand the business and introduce new product innovations. The rapid pace of growth is set to continue, building on our impressive results towards the end of the year. This included our two biggest ever months in the second half of 2018, which resulted in the combined sale alone of more than 10,000 connected-and non-connected vehicle camera units,” adds Marsh.
