There’s a fresh breeze in the management at PTV Transport Consult

Karlsruhe, 02.07.18. Expert consulting in the mobility sector is the speciality of PTV Transport Consult GmbH. Thanks to an increasing number of project orders, the consulting company is on a growth course. On 01 July 2018, Ilona Lange will assume the post of Commercial Director in order to continue advancing financial processes and cooperation agreements strategically. At the same time, Thomas Ferrero, who has been Managing Director since 2015, has been named CEO. Michel Zweers, who previously served as second Managing Director, is leaving the management.

Thomas Ferrero explains: “With this move, we are strengthening the commercial orientation of our management. We have been pursuing this goal consistently since the introduction of our new parent company Porsche Automobil Holding SE in order to be well-prepared in the future for the increased requirements concerning our financial processes and to maintain our growth course. We are very pleased that we were able to promote Ilona Lange from our own ranks.”

In the future, Ilona Lange will focus much more on strategic topics such as financial processes and cooperation agreements. Her goal is to advance project controlling and further enhance the reporting systems.

Ilona Lange has been working for the mobility consultants for five years and has been responsible for project controlling and the finance division for PTV Transport Consult. Previously, she gained significant project controlling experience working at an engineering office for industrial systems and large construction sites and at a software provider to the automobile industry.

PTV Transport Consult GmbH was established in 2013 as an independent company of the PTV Group and today is one of the leading consulting companies in the mobility sector. This is confirmed by the “Best Consultant” award from Brand Eins and Statista in the field of transport, traffic and logistics. Transport Consult provides sustainable and future-oriented concepts in transport and infrastructure projects and also advises on questions of air purity, road safety, Mobility 4.0 and commercial transport.
