Novara GeoSolutions expands the Regulatory Compliance & Integrity Management Department -- Clients will find expanded service offerings and office-to-field geospatial solutions to help optimize their operations

August 29, 2018. Norwell, MA – Novara GeoSolutions (Novara), an industry leader in providing geospatial software and services for pipeline asset management, announces Edgar Sweet, PE, has rejoined the firm as Associate Vice President and Director of Compliance and Integrity Management. Edgar will help expand, direct and manage the company’s consulting in the areas of regulatory compliance and assurance, asset integrity management, safety management systems, and operational improvements.

“Ed is one of many experts we have added to the Novara team this year because we are committed to delivering the best products and services in the industry, says Neal O’Driscoll, Novara president. He adds, “regulatory needs are evolving quickly so it’s paramount that we can provide our clients with seasoned experts to facilitate regulatory compliance. Ed will lead our regulatory team to dramatically improve our clients’ integrity operations and be a catalyst for improving safety management programs, as well as a handful of other services. These services go hand in hand with our technology to provide state-of-the-art asset management solutions for the pipeline industry.”

Edgar is a licensed professional engineer and executive management consultant with more than 38 years of experience working throughout the world, especially in the United States and Canada. He possesses a wealth of knowledge in the oil and natural gas industries at the upstream, midstream and downstream.

Edgar received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Connecticut and earned his M.S. in Management from Lesley University.
