The first Customer Created App lands on DataFlow

DataFlow, the innovative platform that enables organisations to share how they manage data, has released the first of many customer-created Apps.

The App is now available on the DataFlow Store for all DataFlow customers to freely access and use*, driving yet again miso’s mission to make data management as simple as possible for its customers.

The App, created by Andy Gale at Rother District Council, enables the standard reports from Kier outsourced waste services to be optimised, stored in a PostGIS data base and then reported on in a variety of formats.

Ben Allan, Managing Director of Miso, said “This is a fantastic first step for our vision of DataFlow. It shows that through this free platform, organisations can share best practice in data management in a way so that the whole community moves forward”

Andy Gale, Lead Corporate Data Officer at Rother District Council, said “I’m really pleased that I’ve been able to be the first to create an App for DataFlow and hope that it can be used across all organisations that use Kier Services.”

* Please note, a valid FME licence will be required to run the App
