This free event is an opportunity for companies, research organisations and Local and regional authorities to explore what can be done for sustainable urban living and how new technologies and research can help.

You are most welcome to join the discussions and network with potential partners during this free interactive session. We would like to explore which new technologies and innovative solutions will provide the best business case for urban sustainability projects. Major themes:

• Management of air quality
• Energy and transport
• Land use (planning and site identification)

At EMBRACE we will be looking for funding opportunities to develop collaborative projects for urban sustainability. Currently there are open calls for UK businesses to apply for projects on Emerging & enabling technologies (InnovateUK) or Urban innovations in Brazil (Newton fund), or Horizon2020 EO Downstream applications or Earth Observation Big data shift – all of which require SME involvement, collaboration with research base, R&D activities and feedback from the users. The event is a great opportunity for networking and building up collaborations with academia, industry and local authorities.
