By Eric Van Rees - 19th August 2024 - 04:50

Space-Comm Expo Scotland is just four weeks away with the inaugural event attracting global leaders and industry experts from across government, defence, business and academia to SEC Glasgow 11-12 Sep.

Over 3,000 attendees are expected with 70 exhibitors and 60 speakers for the biggest space industry event ever held in Scotland, exploring new frontiers for a new space age driven by government and commercial collaboration. The World Economic Forum predicts the global space economy will be worth $1.8 trillion by 2035 up from $630 billion in 2023.

The Expo will showcase one of the UK’s most dynamic growth sectors with Scotland at the forefront of ambitions to be Europe’s leading space nation. Scotland is home to over 180 space companies, world leading research and academic institutions, multiple spaceports, builds more satellites than any other country in Europe and has vertical launch ambitions before the end of 2024.

Space-Comm Expo Scotland will feature an exciting programme across the two days with multiple speaker theatres, panel sessions, roundtables, workshops and 1-2-1 networking opportunities.
