With over 450 exhibiting companies and two free seminars theatres dedicated to Digital Transformation and Emerging Technologies, The Emergency Services Show (ESS2020) is a showcase of the very latest thinking and innovations in UAVs, mapping, data management and associated connectivity technology.
Free-to-attend, ESS2020 takes place from Tuesday 22 to Wednesday 23 September at the NEC in Birmingham. The show brings together all disciplines from the emergency services sector to unite in a collaborative approach to public safety.
“Technology and innovation are enabling our emergency planners and responders to tackle increasingly complex challenges, and the suppliers of that technology play a key part in collaborative solution building,” explains ESS2020 event director David Brown. “The Emergency Services Show gives visitors unique access to the expertise of these suppliers and discuss their individual requirements with their research and development teams.”
Excelerate Group will be sharing its knowledge of the fast-changing landscape of resilient communications and showcasing technology like its UAV Streamer, a portable, plug and play solution that streams live footage over public or private networks securely. Meanwhile ICT expertise will be available in the Microsoft Partners Policing Pavilion which will form part of the new Future Policing feature being introduced to The Emergency Services Show this year.
New technology on display will include connected vehicles that serve as mobile communications hubs, satellite communications, ruggedised mobile computers tablets and phones, mapping technology, data management solutions, cloud storage, wearable tech, connectivity, hybrid and electric vehicles, body-worn cameras and other video capture systems. Virtual Reality simulation technology and Artificial Intelligence are also set to feature strongly.
Free CPD seminars will run in the Digital Transformations and Emerging Technologies Theatres, with programmes to be announced in the coming months.
Entry to the event, and car parking, at the NEC Birmingham, are both free of charge. www.emergencyuk.com
