Seyond and Reykjafell Partner to Bring Seyond’s ITS Management Platform to Iceland

This collaboration will scale the deployment of Seyond’s ITS Management Platform (SIMPL) to Iceland, enhancing the country’s ability to optimize its transportation systems with advanced LiDAR and perception software.

Reykjafell will bring Seyond’s SIMPL solution to municipalities, and transportation agencies across Iceland. SIMPL combines ultra-long range, high-fidelity LiDAR, and Seyond’s traffic perception software, which is powered by a robust edge processor. Delivering unmatched accuracy in all weather and lighting conditions, SIMPL detects and classifies all road users—including pedestrians and cyclists—without collecting biometric data. It tracks their trajectories, providing precise insights on counts, speed, size, and safety.
