Satellite Imagery: Syrian Government Offensive in Idlib Province, Syria

May 26th satellite imagery of Kafr Nabudah and Hbit indicated that both cities have suffered significant damage from airstrikes and ground forces. Additionally, many of the fields, orchards and olive groves around the region show signs of being burned (and many are still on fire), likely part of a “scorched earth” campaign. According to media reports, Syrian Government forces recaptured Kafr Nabudah on May 26th.
