Satellite Imagery: Damage from Hurricane Idai

DigitalGlobe’s WorldView-3 satellite collected new imagery yesterday (March 22nd) of Beira, Mozambique revealing extensive damage to the city from Cyclone Idai. The satellite imagery shows hundreds of buildings and homes have suffered significant structural damage, streets remain flooded and trees have been stripped of their foliage. Beira’s airport and port facilities also were damaged.
