PTV Transport Consult GmbH counts among Germany's top consultants

Karlsruhe, 02.05.2018. PTV Transport Consult GmbH has a lot to be excited about this year: Not only is their five-year anniversary coming up, but they can also celebrate their rating among the Best Consultants 2018. In the largest German consulting survey conducted by brand eins Wissen und Statista, the transport specialists were awarded for their outstanding know-how in the fields of transport, traffic and logistics.

The renowned industry report of the business magazine helps bring transparency to the rapidly growing and often confusing market of consulting services. For the report, market researchers scrutinised approx. 16,000 companies. Only those able to convince customers and competitors with their expertise and methodological competence made it onto the list of the best. "We are very proud that we’ve again received the "Best Consultant" award," says Thomas Ferrero, Managing Director of PTV Transport Consult. "We are the sole provider that specializes in all areas of mobility consulting and we’ve have made a good name for ourselves in the market. This award is the result of the high-value consulting services we offer and, of course, the hard work of our highly-motivated employees".

PTV Transport Consult was spun off from PTV Group in 2012 with the objective of strengthening its profile of the consulting business in the market and has been on a growth course ever since. The company develops studies and concepts for transport, traffic, mobility, energy and environment issues. The range of its services includes transport and traffic planning, traffic technology, traffic management, road safety management, infrastructure safety and protection, transport economics, planning for public transport as well as passenger surveys and revenue distribution. Their projects for national, international, public and private clients are not only handled at the headquarters in Karlsruhe, but also with local expertise in Berlin, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Munich and Stuttgart.

For the current study, the world's leading statistics portal Statista, was commissioned by the magazine "brand eins", to survey approx. 1,500 senior executives in companies that outsource mandates to consulting service providers as well as partners and project managers of management consultancies.
