PTV Drive&Arrive Arrival Board receives the Logistics Innovation Award

Cergy/Karlsruhe, 30.03.2017. During the International Transport and Logistics Week, held at SITL, PTV Group won the Best Innovation Technologies and Information Systems award for its innovative PTV Drive&Arrive Arrival Board product.

On March 16th2017, the annual Innovation Awards ceremony took place during the International Transport and Logistics Week at SITL. The 17-member jury, made up of supply chain, logistics & purchasing managers and university professors, rewarded PTV Group's solution among 44 candidates.

PTV Drive&Arrive Arrival Board, developed by PTV Group, won the Best Innovation Award in the category Information Technologies and Information Systems. Among the highlights of the product raised by the jury: the rapid and up-to-date visibility of transport, enabling to secure access to logistics sites, work organization & emergency management and its ease of integration.

Arrival Board is a solution allowing the dynamic management of loading docks by dynamically displaying actual estimated time of arrival (ETA) of trucks approaching the site. Thanks to this real-time information, all necessary decisions can be taken to optimize downstream processes, to limit or even eliminate resources’ waiting times (handling, installation, production teams etc.). “I’m really pleased that the jury chose Arrival Board.
