Open Russia: Wind Power Debates will be held on September 26 in Hamburg. Join the open discussion on Russia’s wind power potential to consider all the pros and cons of working in Russian market. Experts and participants will discuss 100 new wind power farms in Russia that will be construct by 2024.
Russia has huge technical and economic wind power potential — 16500 TWh/year. Following the Russian’s national programme outlining the support measures for renewables, 3.35 GW of wind power plants are to come online before 2024. The large-scale construction of wind power parks takes place in numerous regions of Russia: Rostov and Ulyanovsk regions, Krasnodar and Stavropol territories, Tatarstan Republic and others.
During the debate the participants will:
- Get the information about Russian’s national strategy for construction wind power farms
- Discuss the investment potential of Russian wind power industry
- Identify the risks of working at Russian’s wind power market and how to overcome them
- Learn about new wind power project planned in 2019-2024
