Never ones for standing still, miso works hard to make each event bigger and better than previous years. This year, they focussed on FME Cloud and making the most of freely available web services. The team were joined by Brett Madsen live from Australia and Ken Bragg from Safe Software, who discussed his pick of the best bits from the latest release of FME.
In addition to the annual Pub Quiz, the event featured hands-on team tasks where delegates helped the FBI (FME Bureau of Investigation) to track down a crafty Banker using custom-built workbenches – cue competitiveness, toy planes and the obligatory nerf guns!
Whilst miso definitely made sure the event was as much fun as possible, the real aim of the day was to make sure that everyone left buzzing with ideas and concepts to apply in their own workplaces.
Andrew Grubb from Surrey Police said “Although surrounded by seasoned FME Professionals I felt that my opinion mattered and everyone was very friendly and keen to chat about their experiences using FME for a variety of purposes. Miso were very professional and made the event flow and I felt that I got the most out of the day.”
Andrew Osborn from the Rural Payments Agency commented “Already reaping rewards with sharing of information and processes”
miso is a platinum partner of Safe Software.
