Offshore Caribbean Congress 2019

Welcome to attend the Offshore Caribbean Congress 2019 event, which will be held in Georgetown, Guyana during July 4-5, 2019.

Guyana-Suriname basin holds an estimated resource potential of over 13.6 billion barrels of oil equivalent resources. It is ranked second in the world for prospectively among the world’s unexplored basins. These prospects have led to increased international interest and investments.

Early 2019, ExxonMobil had made two additional discoveries offshore Guyana at the Tilapia-1 and Haimara-1 wells, bringing the total number of discoveries on the Stabroek Block to 12. ExxonMobil’s 80 percent exploration success rate in the Guyana basin has evidenced the huge potentials of this basin and caught attentions to regional basins located in Suriname and Trinidad & Tobago.

Offshore Caribbean Congress 2019 aims to be a timely offshore event platform for global stakeholders to understand and success in Guyana, Suriname and Trinidad & Tobago, by exploring new E&P investment opportunities, leveraging implementation strategies, updating latest progress of on-going and planned offshore projects, showcasing modern technologies to unveil new discoveries and optimize offshore project efficiency, together with unlimited opportunities for international peers to network with local governors, regulators, operators, investors and suppliers for future cooperation.
