What:
Together with Siemens, Bentley Systems will demonstrate the very latest in 3D reality modeling technologies at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, an annual festival featuring exciting events and exhibitions which explore the past, present, and future of motor vehicles. Bentley will be demonstrating 3D modeling technologies with Siemens in the new FOS Future Lab during the event which is held on the grounds of Goodwood House, West Sussex, England.
Interactive, hands-on demonstrations will enable the press and public to explore the technology with the use of a tablet or mobile device to take digital photographs and turn them into engineering-ready 3D digital models which are typically used for design, analytical, and construction modeling.
In addition, for the first time at the festival, visitors and press can view a 3D digital model of the Hillclimb, captured using a combination of drone photography and laser scans from a vehicle and created using Bentley’s reality modeling software. Attendees and press will be able to view the model and explore the iconic route up close, using a large touch screen monitor and on their mobile devices.
You are cordially invited to meet with Bentley representatives for one-on-one interviews to discuss and preview the technologies.
