Elbit Systems and Samsung Israel were awarded the 2016 Excellence and Leadership Award by the Israel- Korea Chamber of Commerce (IKCC). The Award was granted to two companies, Korean and Israeli, for their efforts to strengthen business and cultural ties between the two countries.
“The IKCC election committee commended the overall contribution of Elbit Systems to the bi-lateral trade, its proactive involvement in promoting innovation and research projects with counterparts in Korea and its continuous efforts to support endeavors benefiting both countries”.

Examples of projects performed by Elbit Systems in Korea include: the Korean Air Force C-130 transport aircraft upgrade, supply of advanced helmet mounted systems and electro-optic systems and a cooperation agreement recently signed between Cyberbit, an Elbit Systems subsidiary, and Samsung SDS, to provide Cyberbits’ ScadaShield system to protect Samsung SDS clients’ critical networks.
