Rolling Meadows, IL, USA (25 August 2016)—According to ISACA’s 2016 Cybersecurity Snapshot, close to half (45%) of those surveyed worldwide report that they are hiring more cybersecurity professionals in 2016, yet fully 94% of those hiring say it will be difficult to find skilled candidates.
Global IT and cybersecurity association ISACA developed the Cybersecurity Nexus (CSX) to help organizations build qualified cybersecurity workforces. To provide in-person training and networking opportunities, ISACA is hosting the CSX 2016 Asia Pacific conference in Singapore, 14-16 November 2016. ISACA introduced the conference in the U.S. last year to a sold-out audience.
CSX Asia Pacific keynotes are renowned experts in the field and include:

- Ashkan Soltani, former chief technologist of the Federal Trade Commission (U.S.),and independent researcher and consultant focused on privacy, security and behavioral economics

CSX 2016 Asia Pacific will focus on practical cybersecurity solutions and guidance, tailored to every level of a security professional’s career. The conference will allow attendees to explore trends and threats, exchange ideas and insights, and learn how to excel at defending against threats to their enterprises. Sessions are offered in four tracks and with two levels of complexity.
CSX 2016 Asia Pacific will also feature the new CSX Cyber Challenge, an innovative online competition that will test participants’ cybersecurity skills in areas such as ethical hacking, computer network defense and computer forensics. Also offered at the event is a special networking event in ISACA’s Connecting Women Leaders in Technology program.
