InfraTech 2020

By Eric Van Rees - 2nd January 2020 - 08:32

From 14 to 16 January 2020, exhibition InfraTech 2020 will be taking place in Messe Essen with the theme "Maintaining and expanding infrastructures". More than 220 exhibitors present their products and services. The use of unmanned systems - drones, robots, autonomous inspection vehicles, underwater cameras, etc. - is becoming more and more normal in the world of infrastructure. The German police checks with drones from the air whether lorries on the highway keep a sufficient distance. In the Netherlands, the Technical University of Delft uses drones to collect water samples from surface water and to inspect the railway and bridges. Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be used to detect cracks, breaks and rust in bridge parts.

Therefore a special "Smart Infra Technology Conference" will be organized on the exhibition area of ââInfraTech 2020. Keynote speakers and experts will address smart cities from the perspective of politics, science and business, show technological developments and discuss case studies. Interested?
