Among the major investment projects:
- HPP BUK BIJELA (REPUBLIC OF SERBIA)
The installed capacity of planned Buk Bijela HPP is more than 180 MW. The project would require an investment of EUR 193 million. Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) is currently reviewing the project for HPPs Buk Bijela, to be followed by determining the pace of implementation.
- HPPS FOÄA AND PAUNCI (REPUBLIKA SRPSKA)
The plan of state-run power utility Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske (ERS) is to jointly build the two HPPs with a combined installed capacity of between 90 MW and 95 MW, in an investment estimated at some EUR 200 million.
- VRILO HPP (BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA)
The Vrilo pumped-storage hydropower plant to be built in an investment worth EUR 89.1 million, is designed to have t wo units with a total installed capacity of 66 MW, with operations planned to begin in 2023.

This report was prepared within the framework of the 3rd International Summit and Exhibition "Hydropower Balkans 2019" (November 7-8, Belgrade, Serbia), during which hydropower development projects in the Balkans will be discussed in detail.
All these and other industry-related projects will be further discussed within the summit.
