GSSI to Showcase Latest GPR Products at INTERGEO 2018

GSSI’s Dr. Michael Arvanitis will be at Booth # 12.0B.053 to discuss and demonstrate the StructureScan Mini XT and Palm XT antenna accessory, and the new UtilityScanÒ GPR system, an affordable model ideal for efficiently identifying and marking the location and depth of subsurface features.

The new UtilityScan GPR system features innovative technology and a compact size that makes it extremely portable and easy to maneuver in tight survey areas. With a robust new wireless antenna that can handle required data rates, UtilityScan is ruggedly built to withstand challenging field conditions. The electrical design uses GSSI’s patented HyperStacking technology, which has proven to increase depth penetration in challenging soils, while also providing high near surface data resolution. The UtilityScan has a backup Ethernet connection if Wi-Fi is not allowed or desired at a site.

Also at the booth will be the rugged, compact, and flexible StructureScan Mini XT. The Mini XT is ideal for locating rebar, conduits, post-tension cables, and voids. The Mini XT can help identify structural elements, including pan deck and concrete cover, and can also provide real time determination of concrete slab thickness. The Palm XT is a miniaturized GPR antenna that is designed to greatly enhance the capabilities of the StructureScan™ Mini XT all-in-one GPR concrete inspection system. The handheld Palm XT antenna turns a basic StructureScan Mini XT into an advanced system by giving users unparalleled access in tightly spaced areas and enabling overhead scanning.
