Ground-breaking ceremony at Airborne Technologies

With the official ground-breaking ceremony at the beginning of March the first step towards the expansion of the company Airborne Technologies was made.

The company management were pleased to inform the Mayor of Wiener Neustadt, Mr. Schneeberger personally about their ambitious construction project.

In cooperation with the financial partner HYPO Landesbank Vorarlberg a new office complex including a workshop and an additional hangar will be built at the airport Wiener Neustadt East over the next 6 month. Recently the Austrian company has landed a number of significant orders from international Police and Military forces. Airborne Technologies is now in a position to triple its company size and creates more than 40 new jobs.

Wolfgang Grumeth, CEO of Airborne Technologies says: “Creativity and innovation need their space. In our current office we have reached the limits. So we are looking forward to the expansion this summer.

Airborne Technologies consists of a team of experts in aviation, system engineering and geo-data acquisition. The company’s scope of services include the integration of any Airborne Remote Sensor into the customer´s platform, the development of customized ISR Turnkey Solutions as well as the acquisition and processing of geo information - for governments, police, military and many sectors of industry.
