Considered to be one of the industry’s most highly regarded scientific and technological conferences and exhibitions, the hundreth running of the ACE will bring together geoscience experts from around the world to share ideas, learn and network.
Like the ACE, Getech also has a long and rich history of developing geoscientific insight through combination of innovative use of a wide range of exploration data and an understanding of the needs and workflows of the exploration community.
Globe, their flagship GIS product which allows users to learn so much more about potential exploration targets by providing a complete understanding of the evolution that created them in the first place, will be centre stage on the stand.
Dr. Sarah-Jane Kelland, Globe Product Manager, explains more: “Globe helps you understand Earth’s geological evolution and its effect on basin and play development by thinking globally while reacting locally. Globe’s 59 consecutive time-slices, covering over 300 hundred million years of Earth history, provide a complete picture of the regional context of your exploration focus, highlight analogues and predict areas for further investigation.
Our upcoming release of Globe, available in Q3 2017, has a number of important enhancements, including a higher resolution structural framework, larger scale palaeogeographies and additional Earth System Modelling elements that all help de-risk your exploration. In addition, we’re delighted to announce at ACE that in response to continuing tough market conditions, we have significantly lowered the cost of entry to Globe for companies with a specific regional focus via our Globe Regions option.”
The conference will be held at the George R Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX between 2nd and 5th April 2017 and Getech will be exhibiting on stand 1616.
