Since 1999, more than 15,000 delegates have attended GeoDATA across the British Isles and in Europe. Organised by GeoAware, the Verisk GeoInformation events team, the GeoDATA series of events have become renowned as occasions to gain knowledge and share ideas about spatial data, technology and services.

As a result of joining the Verisk family, we have decided that GeoAware will no longer be involved in organizing and running events. As a result, we started discussions with Diversified Communications, the organisers of the annual GEO Business exhibition and conference held in London from 21-22 May which has now resulted in the launch of a new event - the ‘GeoDATA Forum’ with our full support. Verisk are the official sponsor of the GeoDATA Forum.

This new home for a focused location intelligence event will ensure attendees benefit from a new dynamic as over 3000 industry professionals attend GEO Business each year. Saying that, Diversified recognize the importance of providing a niche forum for geospatial specialists, one that they have grown accustomed to, at the previous GeoDATA events.

The GeoDATA Forum will be located in its own exhibition hall adjacent to GEO Business. This new area will feature focused GIS & Big Data seminar sessions (including presentations from Amazon, SAP and ESRI) and two insurance tracks organized in partnership with us. There will also be a number of targeted commercial workshops hosted by the exhibitors and a café area as well. It is going to be a busy couple of days!
