GAUSS+LÖRCHER: New BARTHAUER training partner in southern Germany

GAUSS+LÖRCHER is based in Rottenburg am Neckar and has been operating as an engineering firm for municipal services since 1992, specialising in civil engineering and sewer rehabilitation, as well as geographic information systems. Currently, the GIS department supervised by Dr. Karl-Heinz Röder supports the design and project development of geo-information systems in approximately 80 cities, municipalities, public utilities and associations in southern Germany. The company entered into a sales and distribution partnership with Barthauer Software GmbH early in 2015. Municipal users in the area from Stuttgart to Lake Constance benefit from the close spatial proximity to the customer that the new point of contact for the market-leading infrastructure management solutions from BARTHAUER brought with it.

As a licensed training and installation partner, GAUSS+LÖRCHER now also has been providing extended support for the BaSYS network information system from BARTHAUER since January 2017. To provide BaSYS customers with optimal onsite support, the team led by Dr. Karl-Heinz Röder has now become “Certified BARTHAUER Trainer Partner”. To achieve certification, selected employees themselves underwent the appropriate software training. The factual accuracy and didactic quality of this training has been positively assessed by an authorised trainer and a training licence awarded. Moreover, GAUSS+LÖRCHER can now also directly install and set up the BaSYS network information system at the customer.

Claudia Hickmann, sales manager at BARTHAUER, explains: “We are pleased that our sales and distribution partner GAUSS+LÖRCHER now strengthens our concept of spatial proximity to the customer and as a certified training partner continues to expand our portfolio of services.” Dr. Karl-Heinz Röder adds: “We want to provide our customers with a comprehensive service. This includes the proper training expertise. We are very pleased about the certification by Barthauer Software GmbH.”
