Currently celebrating 25 years in the region, Frequentis UK boasts a strong customer base, delivering averages in excess of €20million/annum. The next 3 years will see added investment strengthening and expanding the local capabilities further across all areas, including local recruitment and training. Public Safety and Defence domains are set to see significant growth.
Recent project wins for Frequentis UK, including the first project for 3020 LifeX as the cloud based Control Room infrastructure for the UK Ambulance Trust, highlight the already increasing prominence for the technology expert in the UK market.
The Department of Health recently selected Frequentis UK for the delivery of Frequentis 3020 LifeX integration platform, as a replacement for the current Integrated Command and Control System (ICCS). North Wales Police also selected LifeX in 2016 as their control room solution. Both projects relate to a change in communications systems for public services, in the move from radio wave to the Emergency Service Network (ESN) offering greater efficiency and capability. Another recent success for Frequentis UK is its recognition as a UK G-Cloud 9 supplier, which will increase the ease at which such supplier services can be accessed.
“The multitude of critical infrastructure projects that we are involved in are brilliant opportunities for the teams to develop and collaborate. Our intention is to reinforce our commitment to our UK and Irish customers through investment in our local support network. Developing local skill sets through investment in local recruitment and training is a key element of this in order to support our current and future customer base.” says John Gurney, Managing Director, Frequentis UK
Frequentis UK Limited was established in 1992 and was the first non-German speaking country to be set-up with a local subsidiary. Now celebrating its 25th year, it boasts globally recognised UK clients such as NATS, UK Ministry of Defence, Metropolitan Police and Network Rail among others. The objective of creating the United Kingdom subsidiary was to be close to customers in the region, to provide in-country support for Frequentis products and to obtain a better understanding of the market requirements. Recent collaborations, successes and the increase in localised technical experts will further strengthen Frequentis UK capabilities.
