The project is the result of a 5,3 million dollars investment, 85% of which is from the federal and provincial governments and 15% from the participating municipalities. Rythmo and the websites were launched on August 23th at a press conference in Candiac. Geomap GIS America, a Saint-Bruno de Montarville company, is proud to have participated in this innovative project through the conception and development of responsive websites including real time information from Ryhtmo, an interactive map, timetables, stops, routes and a trip planner.
Real time information
The responsive websites are available in Roussillon, Richelain and Chambly-Richelieu-Carignan ITC’s as well as the municipal and intermunicipal transportation organization (MITO) of Sainte-Julie. The websites elaborated by Geomap allow for a constant access to real-time and precise information related to the ITC’s. Data is collected from the real-time system and relayed to the three ITC’s and the MITO’s web sites. Since the websites are responsive, they are available on every type of mobile device and completely adapt to the screen size. It is now possible to follow a stop, or to look for a bus route at all times via the ITC’s websites.
Websites access
The websites are available for users in Candiac, La Prairie, Saint-Philippe, Delson, Saint-Constant, Sainte-Catherine, Chambly, Richelieu, Carignan, Saint-Mathias, Marieville and Sainte-Julie municipalities and can be used on every electronic device. The project was elaborated to facilitate user’s travels with the help of real time data transmission and easy to use responsive websites.
