Testimonials:
Visitors
“I have attended Data Centre World for the last 5 years. Every year I have attended I have found it be extremely useful. I attend to meet face-to-face with customers and see what the competition are doing. It’s great to meet with people here in a different kind of environment than normal and it allows me to meet with people I normally wouldn’t get a chance to meet”. Chris Wheeler – Technical Manager – Schneider Electric
“I am here to attend Big Data World and have taken away some great ideas from what I have seen so far! I have talked with some great suppliers which was my main reason for attending – to connect and network with people in the industry. This has been a great opportunity for me to see new people and products that are out there. There’s not many opportunities like this for you to go to one place and see everything in one room. I hope to be back again next year.” Antoine Amend - Head of Data Science – Barclays
“This is my fourth year attending the events. The show is a great barometer for validating the technology trends. I have managed to meet with lots of relevant people within the industry and clients as well! It’s great to come and get more education around some of the key conference themes. It’s fantastic to be able to meet with new exhibitors and be able to engage with them beyond the event. It’s good to be able to continue conversations. Being here gives me a great opportunity to continue building relationships and see what the future may bring further down the line!” Mark Waite – Managing Director – Cohesive
Exhibitors
“We have been exhibiting at Cloud Expo Europe for years as we have always seen great success at the show. We have an extensive cloud portfolio and as this is the biggest cloud exhibition in Europe it is important to have a presence here.
As so many visitors come to this event you can get a lot of exposure for your brand among different target groups. We see lots of qualified professionals and senior IT managers here from across a range of industries.
Everything has run very smoothly with the stand and speaking sessions too – particularly our presentation on Smart Cities IoT, which was standing room only”. Kornelia Bogen - UK Marketing Manager - T-Systems
“This year's show is going very well for us. We are seeing a lot of interest in various cloud-related IBM solutions. The event seems much bigger and much better organized this year.
Our dedicated VIP area has been great for meetings and discussions. I've arranged lots of meetings with customers and potential clients over the course of the two days. The VIP area has attracted plenty of IT directors and CTOs which has been really great. You really do get everybody here – like-minded individuals sharing experiences and useful insights.
I think the set up with the other co-located events is a very good idea as well – if you're going to be here for one you may as well make it a multi-purpose trip!” Simon Chambers - Cloud Object Storage Sales - IBM
Speakers
“Raising awareness for women in tech through international conferences and initiatives like this is super important. Every career is headed towards digital so it is critical that women across all sectors know that things are changing and they need to prepare.
If women understand technology they have a big advantage in the workplace whatever their role. As all jobs are going to be disrupted, women need to approach this change in a realistic way. Learning from events like this and applying that knowledge to your career is a great place to start – plus it's free!” Alejandra Leon Moreno - Director, Lead Architect Digital Architecture & Emerging Technologies - Philips IT
“This is the second time I have attended the events and this year I am doing a speaking session as well, but I have also come to have a look around and see what the suppliers have to offer. The main benefit of attending this event, for me personally, is that as a delegate you get to see a lot of companies, new ideas and opportunities in one place. Instead of having meetings with vendors over a long period of time, you get to see them all in one place. You get to see new products/ suppliers and pick and have impromptu meetings all within 2 days.” Juan Barnett – Storage and Computer Manager – NEWS UK
