Aylesbury, 19 December, 2018 – Esri UK is pleased to invite proposals for presentations for its 2019 Annual Conference to be held on Tuesday 21 May 2019, at the QEII Conference Centre, in London.
GIS users and experts from all over the UK are invited to submit their presentation concepts to share with more than 2,500 of the UK’s leading GIS professionals at the UK’s largest GIS event. In 2018 more than 30 speakers took to the stage, from unique and diverse fields across the public and private sector, having been selected from more than 100 papers submitted.
For the 2019 conference, potential speakers are asked to submit their ideas in one or more of the following six categories:
Inspiring what’s next: how you are working on some of the world’s most pressing issues to protect biodiversity, improve the health of the planet or the lives of humans
Data in action: how you have accessed any of the ready-to-use content layers available in The Living Atlas to save you time and help visualise your own data
Analytical insights: how you have visualised data to reveal new patterns, trends and hotspots
Collaborative working: how you are using ArcGIS apps to collate data and facilitate collaboration between office-based staff and field workers to improve operational processes
Developer forum: how you use ArcGIS to build and deploy apps with spatial capabilities
Education: how you are teaching with ArcGIS to deliver the curriculum and equip students with the right skills for their future careers
