Spatial analytics world leader Esri will demonstrate the availability of a new software integration with the SAP HANA platform used by companies around the world. This solution allows users to access Esri's Insights for ArcGIS, a tool that can analyze and visualize big data in minutes.
Analytical queries on big data typically take hours. SAP HANA and Esri's Insights for ArcGIS have enabled organizations to perform advanced analytics much faster. For public utilities, manufacturers, and emergency responders, the ability to act on the real-time data processing offered by Insights for ArcGIS can save money and lives. For instance, the City of Boston public works department queried SAP HANA data in real time to help decrease the response time of snow-clearing equipment during winter months and thereby lower public costs.
"As an SAP global technology partner, we are very excited about this integration and the opportunity to be part of SAPPHIRE NOW," said Dean Angelides, Esri head of international alliances and partners. "Esri users will have faster, simpler integration with their enterprise information, and users of SAP HANA can access a complete mapping platform that provides advanced spatial analytics to discover hidden opportunities and gain insight."
Esri's real-time capabilities are now available to users of SAP HANA through Insights for ArcGIS, a powerful solution that enables organizations to unlock their data's full potential with compelling, easy-to-use visualization and spatial analytics tools.
SAPPHIRE NOW and ASUG Annual Conference is the world's premier business technology event and largest SAP customer-run conference, offering attendees the opportunity to learn and network with customers, SAP executives, partners, and experts across the entire SAP ecosystem. Esri will showcase its advanced mapping and analytics technology at SAPPHIRE NOW and ASUG Annual Conference at booth #1089.
