Drone based LiDAR for Aberystwyth University global research

Earth Observation and Ecosystem Dynamics Group, Department of Geography and Earth Sciences, Aberystwyth University has chosen COPTZ to provide a drone based LiDAR and spectral imaging package to enhance their research across the globe.

After in-depth consultation, COPTRZ have recommended a UAV LiDAR laser scanner system which will capture up to 500,000 points per second and enable survey grade high quality point clouds to be captured using a sub 20Kg drone linked to spectral imaging data.
