The annual Cadcorp Local Government Conference gives those working with geographic information at local authorities the opportunity to update and expand their knowledge of GIS. This year’s conference will explore the benefits of GIS for delivering enriched intelligence.
This free-to-attend conference is aimed at those who work in central or local government. It will be of interest to those requiring more information on GIS technology and its aptitude for making sense of place.
The day will include a number of presentations from GIS practitioners working in UK local government. Cadcorp will give updates on deploying the latest Ordnance Survey data formats and the availability of aerial photography. We will review feedback from users of SIS Desktop 9 and SIS WebMap 9 and based on it, demonstrate their top features. Cadcorp partner and location data supplier, emapsite will also present.
It will be relevant to delegates who are looking for new ideas to build upon an existing GIS infrastructure or those who are new to this type of software.
Breaks and a free lunch will provide many opportunities for networking with like-minded professionals.
