Bluesky Expands Global Business with Travis Mayne Appointment

Travis Mayne joins Bluesky in the position of Business Development Manager while Emma Smith takes on the newly created role of Bid Manager. Mayne and Smith will be based out of the Bluesky head office in the UK supporting its worldwide operation with offices in Ireland, India and the US.

Travis Mayne is a seasoned geomatics professional with nearly 30 years in the sector. Mayne joins Bluesky from Cyient Europe, formerly Blom Aerofilms, where he held multiple roles, including Project Manager and Sales and Business Development Executive, over a 17 year period. A member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Mayne started his geospatial career as a photogrammetrist with Mason Land Surveys before holding roles with Simmons Mapping and Atkins.

“I have worked with the Bluesky team for many years across a number of projects so was delighted to finally become one of the team,” said Mayne. “This is an exciting time for aerial survey companies in general and Bluesky in particular as it continues to invest in new technology and develop innovative products and services.”

Emma Smith is an experienced business development professional with a proven track record of supporting SMEs as they expand into new regions and industry sectors.
