Germany’s infrastructure is in need of extensive modernisation and rehabilitation. This year’s RO-KA-TECH convention programme explores the topic under the motto “Rehabilitation 2020-30 – Quo Vadis?”, focusing on the urgently required rehabilitation of above-ground and below-ground infrastructure objects. The implementation of effective rehabilitation design and documentation has been playing a key role in Barthauer Software GmbH’s product portfolio for many years. Aside from the core applications for the planning, administration, operation and maintenance of infrastructure objects, BARTHAUER naturally offers a mobile solution for the efficient handling of rehabilitation documentation as well.
All rehabilitation measures from planning to documentation are entirely paperless in the spirit of digitalisation. Orders are transferred to mobile devices at the office. All measures can be documented quickly and easily on site, also with photos. Mobile data capture is securely and consistently synchronised with the database. This workflow saves all participants time, material and money.
Given the fact that many sewer networks are in poor condition however and because budgets are tight, the importance of forward-looking economic maintenance and investment planning is increasing in addition to purely operational rehabilitation documentation. BARTHAUER offers BaSYS STATUS, a product that provides all the benefits of long-term, strategic rehabilitation design. In addition to rehabilitation documentation and design, BaSYS also offers flexible maintenance and operation management. It supports inventory data recording and the documentation of maintenance and rehabilitation tasks as well as noted damage for operators, service providers and rehabilitation firms.
With its implementation of the latest requirements according to the wastewater technical construction guidelines in the most recent ISYBAU wastewater exchange format (XML-2017), BARTHAUER is the innovation leader. The latest version of the exchange format meets all elevated technical and legal requirements to ensure the smooth exchange of data between client and vendor. A corresponding interface is already integrated in BaSYS. Now the text and symbol placements in the XML file can be transferred with the new presentation data collective together with the technical data. In relation to real estate, the detailed recording of affiliations is now possible with the definition of additional units of order such as the economic unit. The introduction of segments makes it possible to document attribute changes within edges and therefore also the exchange of these properties between the client and vendor. In BaSYS this information can either be recorded graphically or the inspection data for pipes can be automatically generated and administered.
