BARTHAUER will be presenting itself at IFAT 2016 as a competent, reliable provider of professional software solutions in the field of infrastructural management and water resources management. In addition to established products, BARTHAUER will also be exhibiting a host of innovations on its own exhibition stand (Hall B1/Stand 310).
In cooperation with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stein & Partner GmbH, BARTHAUER will be showing a joint solution for the databank-supported, strategic asset management of sewer systems. BaSYS STATUS enables forward-looking systems management through strategic maintenance and restructuring planning with infinitely variable damage classification.
Also new is BaSYS MIKE for hydrodynamic sewer system computation. BARTHAUER is the first external company to be internationally integrating the new MIKE1D DHI computation module assisted by the BARTHAUER ARENA user interface directly into the BaSYS network. Together with this BARTHAUER is offering an innovative alternative to the HYDROCAD solution that has been integrated for several years.
The new BaSYS Workflow Assistant enables selected BaSYS modules or functions to be made available in a defined sequence, which corresponds in practice to a concrete workflow. As the user is guided through the work steps, repetitive working tasks can in particular be efficiently dealt with.
In the sewage-related technological field BARTHAUER will be showing innovations for operations management and the maintenance management of sewer systems. New functions are the resource administration and optimised ”route planning“. The sequence of objects can be defined and used as a follow-up.
The BaSYS network information system also supports all work steps for the planning, administration, operation and updating of supply networks. New items in the water technology field are the flow chart and detail drawings; remediation planning in the form of a measurement prioritisation via a profitability comparison; support from leakage detection for discovering leakage points and from measurement probes for inspection of pipeline networks and cathodic corrosion protection for the prevention of rust formation. In addition, BARTHAUER is also offering the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) function for computer-aided process monitoring and control.
New also is the connection of BARTHAUER software to the “open source“ PostgreSQL platforms as a free object-relational databank management system as well as QGIS as a free geo-information system for the observing, processing and acquisition of spatial data.
“We are very pleased to have the opportunity at the IFAT to present to the international specialist audience our market-leading products and solutions in relation to the management of pipeline networks. We will be showing a highly impressive and innovative product range to our customers and partners as well as to all specialist visitors” says Claudia Hickmann, BARTHAUER‘s Marketing Divisional Manager
