1Spatial, a global provider of Location Master Data Management (LMDM) software and solutions, announced it has secured an initial contract with the New York State Office of Internal Technical Services, for the use of 1Integrate software and services.
This is the first contract with the State of New York, which, given its population density, provides a gateway to considerable further expansion opportunities.
With 20.2 million residents and 240,000 lane miles of road, the State of New York is the fourth most populous state in the United States. 1Integrate will be used to automate the updating of data received from numerous government entities within state-wide Address and Roads databases, replacing a time-consuming, manual process. This is just one of several data automation and conflation projects currently being considered by the State.
1Spatial has developed several business applications based on its 1integrate rules engine which are applicable across all US states, such as its Next Generation 911 offering, Highway Performance Monitoring Systems and Crash Mapping solutions, providing significant scope for expansion within every State customer.
Claire Milverton, 1Spatial CEO, said:
“We are very excited to be working with the State of New York, for the first time. They will be utilising our software to automate data collation and verification within their state-wide databases, freeing up vital government resources. Whilst this initial contract is modest in size, there are multiple additional areas in which 1Spatial could support the State in the future, including the use of several of its already defined repeatable solutions which are currently in use with other States. This contract is further evidence of the credibility of 1Spatial’s software and ability to execute and grow in the US market. “
